Merry Christmas!
To spice things up a bit
this year—and save you a little time,
We’ll quickly catch you up on us, and do it in a rhyme!
For three-plus years in Florida we’ve made a paradise-home,
With gardens, and beach, and fun-galore, we find no need to roam.
(But we miss our friends and family—that’s you!—and wish we all
were near,
So if you’re in the neighborhood, you’re always welcome here!)
Clark works from home and spends all day with maps of
water and roads,
But evenings and weekends are filled with fun! (And projects—we have
loads)
With striking red hair and her beautiful smile, Maryann is
loved by all,
She makes our house a loving home, and keeps us on the ball.
Our eldest son, David, loves to learn and surprises us
every day
With his creative ideas and sciency facts, we love him in every way.
The sweetest girl that you ever will meet lives right here with
us,
Rebecca’s her name, and helping’s her game, and she’s cute—that’s
a plus!
It seems that every child we meet somehow already knows his name,
Benjamin’s smile is so catchy, you see, that you’ll soon be doing
the same.
Last but not least is Andrew, so sweet, who’s growing so
big and tall
He’s learning to write, and can count so high. Like the rest, he can do
it all!
Four children equates to a very full life, but we find time to
laugh and to play,
Plus Daisy (the dog), and two giggle pigs, three cheers for FAMILY,
Hooray3!
